I did, and I am John Weatherford, a graduate student in English Literature at the University of Georgia currently pursuing my master’s degree. As you can tell, I have an interest in literary theory, and my other academic interests include Southern Literature, British and American Modernism, and the intersection of faith (in my specific case, Christian faith) and literature.
I don’t think you need to know much more than that about me to read this page, but you can always facebook me if you’re unusually curious.
By the by, the chapter summaries are password protected because:
1) they are my reading notes from Lois Tyson’s Critical Theory Today, 2e, and
2) as such, they largely consist of quotes or simple paraphrases of what I deem relevant portions of the text so
3) I want to try and respect copyright law by not posting large, significant portions of her text online for free.
So, if you own a copy of the book and want to read my notes (or want to use them for other academic purposes), leave me a comment, and I’ll send you the password.
